Master in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics from the University of London, UK; Commercial Engineer from Adolfo Ibáñez University, Chile; Member of the Institute of Directors IoD of the United Kingdom, and Certificate of Director of Business IoD, International Certificate in Company Direction.
Between the years 2010 and 2013, he was Executive Director of BOARD Corporate Governance Center conformed by Adolfo Ibáñez University, Diego Portales University, and Ernst & Young.
He is professor of Corporate Governance in the Diploma of Corporate Compliance, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez; Professor of Corporate Governance in the Diploma in Strategy and Management of CSR, Universidad Alberto Hurtado; Professor of Corporate Governance of the Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez; and Professor of Responsible Corporate Governance, Fundación ACCION, in addition to providing programs on how to implement and report Corporate Governance.
He has applied his knowledge and skills of corporate governance, sustainability and relationships in various emerging markets, advising European, Asian and Latin American organizations, which allows him to understand the nature of these disciplines in relation to their global development.
German is the Chairman of ACCEC, the Chilean Association for Compliance and Corporate Ethics, and an active researcher and collaborator of media specializing in corporate governance and sustainability, highlighting publications such as «The Fight for Capital: Turkey ISE-30 Research into Investor Relations and Disclosure Best Practice «;
«Financialisation and Corporate Responsibility: Implications for the Nature of the Firm», and «Sustainability Integrated to the Business», among others.
