In the list of companies stand Natura and Fibria, with five nominations each, while between the investors stand Itau Asset Management and Previ with four nominations each one.
ALAS20 presents the results of the third Sustainability Study 2016, held between March and May of 2016, including top executives and directors of companies and investment institutions of Brazil.
This study is an initiative of GovernArt and Sustainable Leadership Agenda ALAS20 in partnership with SITAWI.
The study highlights Natura and Fibria for being nominated in all five categories, followed close by Itau Unibanco Holding with four nominations each. In the category of Investment Institution Itau Asset Management and Previ stand with four nominations, followed close by Santander Asset Manager and Real Grandeza with three nominations.
All companies and investors who have been nominated in ALAS20 are evaluated technically and independently by Vigeo Eiris, Extra Financial Risk Rating Agency founded in 2002 in France, with 120 analysts and experts, and international presence in Paris, Brussels, London, Milan, Casablanca, Tokyo and Santiago, having assessed more than 2,800 public offering issuers.
The results of this evaluation will be delivered to the Jury of ALAS20, who will dictate which companies and institutions are winners in each category for their excellence in public disclosure of information on sustainability, corporate governance, investor relations and responsible investment. Winning companies and institutions in each category will be awarded at the Awards Ceremony to be held on November 17, 2016, and final results will be published on November 18, 2016.
