INVESTOR SUSTAINABILITY EXPERT PARTNER

PRI: Investor Sustainability Expert Partner

The Principles of Responsible Investment supported by the United Nations, PRI, www.unpri.com, facilitates the understanding of sustainable development for investments and supports investors so that they can incorporate ESG factors in their decisions, and translate them into good proprietary practices. Through the implementation of the Principles, investors contribute to the development of a sustainable financial system. Responsible investment is a process that actively considers financial criteria – such as profitability and risk – as well as certain extra-financial criteria – such as environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) – in investment analysis and decision making.

PRI has partnered with the Sustainable Leaders Agenda 2020, ALAS20, www.alas20.com, as Investor Sustainability Expert Partner, which will allow them to provide training courses on responsible investment in Chile, aimed at institutional investors and companies interested in the sustainable development.

PRI’s participation as Investor Sustainability Expert Partner of ALAS20 refers exclusively to the Annual Training Program and not to the selection process of the companies and institutions that participate in ALAS20.
