[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=»3/4″][vc_column_text]Kathleen Barclay is Chief Advisory Officer KCB Ltda, President of AMCHAM, American Chilean Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Board Member  of Bicecorp, Bice Bank, Austral Capital, Geomar SA, and Banco Caja Social in Colombia, as well as AmCham, among others. She has an active participation in cultural and academic matters, including her contribution as a member of the Editorial Committee of El Diario, a member of the Board of Directors of Adolfo Ibáñez University, a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for Public Studies (CEP) Advisor to Endeavor Chile and Board Member of Chile Global Angels. She is also a member of the Council of the Americas, the US Chamber of Commerce and of the Advisory Council of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS).

Prior to 2001, Kathleen developed her career for 23 years at Chase Manhattan Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.), which included jobs in New York, London and Santiago. She led the corporate credit area for Latin America in the early 1980s; was a director in the investment banking area in London, working on bond issues and international advisory services for Latin America between 1988 and 1992. From 1992 to 2000, she took over the management of the bank’s business in Chile, with emphasis on business Investment banking and international transactions. As Senior Country Officer she represented the bank in several company directories in which she participated through her «Private Equity» area. Under her leadership, the bank ranked among the top three firms in Chile in international mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and syndicated loans.
