Previously, he was Business Editor and General Editor of Capital Magazine, and Editor of Economy and Business section of El Mercurio newspaper. He is a Journalist at the Catholic University of Chile, and holds a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Chile.
Among the awards he has received are the Pension Funds Association’s Award for Excellence in Journalism; the Journalism Excellence Award from the Banks´ Association; the Bank of Development and Credit Agricole Award and Grant; and the Citibank-Columbia University Award and Scholarship of Excellence.
Roberto Sapag is currently Professor of Economic Journalism at the Catholic University of Chile’s School of Journalism, director of the «Global Economy» program for Radio Infinita and a board member of the National Press Association.
