Lawyer at the Andrés Bello University, with experience in the areas of Criminal Law and Insurance Law practice, currently represents several minority shareholders. She has presented before the Economic Commission of the Chamber of Deputies to deliver her vision regarding the draft amendment of the law that regulates corporations and that relates to the protection of the rights of minority shareholders. In addition, she has participated in radio and television programs, addressing issues of legal competence, such as those relating to consumers. In November of 2013 she was recognized with the Prize 100 Women Leaders 2013.

In May 2015 she was invited to the 6th Congress of AEMEC, III Congress of «International Financial Litigation Network», Casa América, Madrid, Spain. AEMEC is the Spanish Association of Minority Shareholders of Listed Companies.

Bárbara Salinas is currently in the process of establishing the Association of Minority Shareholders of Chile (ASOAM) in partnership with AEMEC and the Spanish law firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo www.cremadescalvosotelo.com

In the framework of the Congress, which was also attended by members of the World Federation of Investors, WFI Shareholders Associations Around the World www.wfic.org, she was invited to join as a member of that institution.
