She has 14 years of experience managing the development of sustainable development projects funded by the British Government and the European Union. She is a specialist in the use of social impact measurement techniques. She also has a vast experience in the incidence and awareness of Investors in Responsible Investment (IR). In recent years she has worked for the Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), leading the global team based in 8 countries, providing advice and training in IR to institutional investors. Maria Laura leads the Impact Investment Group for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, and is co-founder of LatinSIF.

She holds a Master of Science in Development Studies from the University of London SOAS; has a degree in International Relations from the University of Belgrano in Argentina and has completed two specializations in: Finance for ASG Professionals at the University of San Andres de Escocia and a study program in Private Capital at the Said Business School, University of Oxford in England.
